A lot of bonding agencies will tell you they do whatever it takes for their clients. At Guignard, we like to show it by our actions.
For example, several years ago we made a trip to Grand Cayman to meet with the Cayman Island Water Authority on behalf of a client. Our goal was to get a large bond accepted without a fronting company because the fronting company withdrew at the last moment. After meeting with the authority, explaining the situation, and providing the necessary assurances that the risk of accepting the bond was minimal, our client received award and the contract was a tremendous success.
Additionally, we have negotiated with numerous obligees regarding onerous bond forms, terms, and conditions.
